We are a design collective with outposts in Los Angeles, New York, Paris, London, Milan and Marseille — a team of professionals with more than 50 years of combined experience in the home furnishings and décor industry. 

Our work has taken us across residential, commercial, and hospitality interiors, as well as design-build projects of every scale — and it is that breadth inspiration across multiple cities and cultures, that shaped the way we see a room, source a piece, and understand what makes a space truly feel like home.

Atelier Brands LLC DBA MAISON VAGUE didn't begin with a business plan. It began with years spent in the field — walking showrooms, visiting artisan workshops, negotiating with makers, and learning, project by project, which pieces hold their presence over time and which ones quietly disappear into the background. Across the varied intrigue of cities and design histories, we developed a shared instinct for furnishings that strike the right balance: elevated enough to anchor a room, livable enough to belong in one. In June 2025, Atelier Brands LLC DBA MAISON VAGUE launched a to the trade only division and in March 2026, the brand opened e-commerce for all consumers looking to design their own spaces. 

Our perspective is shaped by the cities we call home. Los Angeles lends us its sun-warmed ease and effortless indoor-outdoor living. New York sharpens our eye for pieces that perform in demanding spaces — that bring personality and presence without sacrificing function. Paris deepens our appreciation for craft, history, and the kind of quiet elegance that never needs to announce itself. And Marseille — raw, coastal, and fiercely independent — reminds us that beauty doesn't require polish, that texture and imperfection have a place in every well-designed room. Together, these cities don't just inform our aesthetic; they are our aesthetic.
